Now that the ESB Science Blast is over for another year, here are some ideas to keep the science going in your classroom.
- A STEM Challenge: Have students work in teams to create a project inspired by one of the projects on display at The Science Blast show. Challenge them to think about how the project could be improved or how it could be used to solve a real-world problem.
- Scientific Inquiry: Have students work in small groups to come up with their own scientific inquiry question based on the projects they saw. Have them research their question and come up with a solution.
- Scientific Writing: Have students write a blog post or article about one of the projects they saw. They can discuss their thoughts on the project, what they learned, what could be improved, and how the project relates to their own lives.
