World Happiness Day takes place on 20th March every year. Here are some ideas you can do with your class:

1. Happiness Group Activity: Divide the class into small groups and have each group brainstorm a list of things that make them and their classmates happy. Discuss how these things bring people together and promote a happy atmosphere.

2. Happiness Art Project: Provide each student with a large piece of paper or poster board and have them create a mural that represents “Happier Together”. Encourage each student to add something to the mural that represents what they have in common with the other students in the class.

3. World Happiness Scavenger Hunt: Put together a list of items that represent happiness in different cultures around the world. Have the students research and find photos or videos of each item. After they find the items, have them present what they have learned to the class.

4. It’s the International Day of Happiness Assignment: Have the students write a paper about what makes them happy, what makes others happy, and how being happy can bring people together.

5. Happiness Song: Have the students write and perform a song about what makes them and their classmates happy. Encourage them to focus on what they have in common instead of what divides them.
