June is hard in normal times so we’ve come up with a day-by-day guide to help you out. This has been adapted from Anseo.net’s Project Project.

June 2nd-5th: Virtual School Tour 🚗

Instead of going on a school tour this year, every day, ask the children and their families to find a place within the 5km limit that might be interesting to visit. Each day, they have to show you something under a theme:

If they’re feeling very techy, they can even plot the places on a Google Map and do a virtual tour. Other ideas might be to make a short video advertisement for the 4 places so they can present their area to your class. They could even make a tour guide or a brochure!

June 8th to 13th: CruinniĂş na nĂ“g 🎭

For those of you outside of Ireland, this might mean nothing to you. If you’re not in the know, Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. It’s called CruinniĂş na nĂ“g. It’s all online this year and there are tonnes and tonnes of ways to get involved during the week before the big day on the 13th June. Your best bet is to go on the website and find 5 different activities that would suit your class – whether that’s investigating whether the sky is blue or having a CĂ©ilĂ in your kitchen – and that’s your week. Visit https://cruinniu.creativeireland.gov.ie/ for more information.

June: 15th to 19th: Virtual Sports’ Week 🤾🏽‍♀️
