ClassHub is a new directory to match up teachers and tutors with prospective pupils for grinds. Its central idea is to make this service as easy as possible for everyone that uses the site so everyone can quickly and easily find who and what they need, and feel more confident about the future.
Classhub are looking for Irish teachers to sign up to their service to offer grinds or classes. It takes three easy steps:
- Set up a profile to say who you are, where you’re from and what experience you have.
- List your class – basically how and where and when you are available to take on students.
- Get Paid – decide how much you want to get paid and then ClassHub makes sure you get paid once the booking is made.
Classhub suggest a cost of about €35 per class with primary school students but you can choose whatever you think is a fair price. Classhub take a small cut of the class cost but in return offer you a fantastic portal to offer your class to a wide audience, as well as handling all administration and costs.
These days, it isn’t unusual for children to need extra help after school. You might be a Maths genius and might have a huge talent for helping children “get” the various concepts that some children find difficult. You might be someone who knows how to unlock a child’s ability to read fluently. You might even be someone who teaches a musical instrument and you might be able to reach children and their families in your area.
